Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Butterfly weft Adjustment.

Most clients return every six to eight weeks for maintenance, but timing depends on hair growth, lifestyle, and weft condition. If you notice lifting, discomfort, or visible seams sooner, book an earlier adjustment to preserve blend, security, and extension health.

When performed by trained stylists, adjustments are gentle and designed to protect hair integrity. We reposition and reinforce wefts without excessive tension and recommend aftercare to minimize stress. Any concerns will be addressed with bespoke placement to avoid breakage.

Most adjustments take forty-five to ninety minutes depending on the number of wefts and required blending or tension fixes. A full consult and comfort check are included, and we'll give a precise time estimate when assessing your extension condition.

Minor length and volume adjustments are possible by repositioning or removing specific wefts, or adding extensions if needed. Significant changes may require a new installation. We’ll advise on the best approach during your consultation to achieve desired results safely.

Avoid washing for forty-eight hours, sleep on a silk pillowcase, and use recommended sulfate-free products. Brush gently from ends upward and avoid heavy heat directly at the weft. Regular maintenance appointments and proper home care keep wefts secure and natural-looking.

Adjustments themselves don't prevent future styling or color services, but timing matters. We recommend consulting your stylist before coloring near the weft area. Properly adjusted wefts provide a stable base for styling; inform us of planned color services so we can protect the bonds.
